A new generation of society websites
The Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) is Connecticut’s leading professional CPA organization, with almost 6,000 members.
The CTCPA team was looking to update the functionality of their previous website to reflect the current generation of CPA sites. Imarc did this by leveraging the new Fuse platform, specially made for CPA society websites. The new platform offers extended tools like automated dues, CPE registration, and easy content management.

A custom experience
The project’s strategy phase began with a CTCPA stakeholder session to understand current workflows and requirements for the new website. The requirements were kept in mind as Imarc’s team customized the Fuse platform for CTCPA.
Fuse: Easy to use for both admin and members
To deliver a seamless experience for members, the CTCPA site is built on the Fuse platform. It has tight AM.net integration allowing members to log in and register for CPE courses and credits.
An area of particular focus for CTCPA was the event catalog. The event catalog is the main driver of revenue. Events are sold in many different formats. To make sure event registration was a painless experience, Imarc developed multiple approaches and analyzed best practices from dozens of CPA sites.
Imarc created an easy-to-use interface for CTCPA administrators. They can control how events are grouped and presented, which filters are available to users, and allow simple actions like registering oneself for a single event, or buying bundles of events on behalf of colleagues.
Custom design and branded modules
The CTCPA website features clean, crisp imagery and engaging copy that aligns with the tone of the brand.
CTCPA’s homepage was designed on the Fuse platform with custom design and module upgrades. The design reflects their desire to be colorful and engaging while organizing their robust information in an easy-to-consume user interface (UI). The interior pages utilize Fuse modules which were custom branded to CTCPA. The edit capabilities of these modules give admins the freedom to update content as needed while maintaining the design theme of the site.
Built to last – on Fuse
Built on Fuse, the new CTCPA website is built with architecture that has created a solid foundation of AM.net and website best practices, and the ability for continued customization. CTCPA will benefit from the Fuse platform as new features are released and implemented after internal review and can be implemented weekly to the site.
