As child care and early education centers across the country had to close their doors, Bright Horizons wanted to bring their world-class education from the classroom to the living room. The vibrant online learning destination would be a way to continue providing education and support to the 200,000 parents and children who are part of the Bright Horizons family.

Building a new tool for remote learning
With an agile approach, the Imarc team worked as an extension of the Bright Horizons team. We ensured that the design and user experience fulfilled the needs of customers. The group was collaborative, nimble, and quick in the design and development of the new website.
Imarc recommended the Craft CMS for this project. Our extensive experience with this flexible platform allowed for a quick build of the new website, as time was of the essence with this project. Within a few days, the Bright Horizons team was equipped with the training and tools to easily create new assets for the site.
With the scale of the Bright Horizons customer base, it was important to support the traffic that the website would be generating. Creating a release schedule to support the load-balance of the website has ensured a seamless experience for all site visitors during launch.
Craft has proven to be a user friendly CMS, providing our team with flexible solutions while maintaining impactful digital experiences. The UI enables beginners and experts alike to create, modify, and design web content with ease. We have thoroughly enjoyed using this tool.

Supporting families at home
The website provides a wide range of activities that follow the major learning areas children would experience in a child care center, such as STEM, art, cooking, etc. The administrative team regularly uploads new activities such as videos to keep children and families engaged. Activities are broken out by age group to make the experience easy for parents to navigate.
While this resource was initially designed as a way to support families during this unprecedented time, the Bright Horizons team recognizes that the value of this resource may extend well into the future.
Working with the Imarc team on Bright Horizons World At Home has been a fantastic partnership and we know that the outcome is a wonderful site that is making a difference in the lives of our families as they juggle working at home with homeschooling, possible financial pressures, and general uncertainty.
