Frequently Asked Questions
You will work closely with one of our Directors of Accounts, seasoned marketing professionals who are veterans of hundreds of digital projects. We will communicate with you frequently through ongoing status meetings, timely email updates, documents that show progress and timelines, and a dashboard of features in progress.
The timeline for a website redesign varies greatly based on the size of the project, but the typical redesign will take 4-6 months to complete. This includes providing you with a full-featured, flexible content management system for keeping the website updated. On the shorter end, a 3-month project could redesign a smaller website, focusing on a few specific user funnels, with quick timelines for reviews. We've also taken on massive 18-month projects, redesigning very large websites with complex functionality, migrating tens of thousands of pages into a new content management system, integrating with multiple APIs, and coordinating buy-in from many client teams and vendors.
Our decades of experience allow us to estimate projects accurately, but occasionally we learn of new requirements during the process. If these necessitate a scope change, we will communicate that and work with you to figure out how to shift priorities to stay within budget, add the new requirement to Phase 2, or provide a Change Order.
By making sure each discipline has input at each phase of the project, the team's Project Manager and Account Coordinator are able to keep timelines and budgets on time and on target. Our estimates leave room for some changes in requirements, and when necessary, we will inform you immediately if a request requires a change to the scope.
A phased approach can often help make sure an initial project launches quickly and within budget, leaving important but less vital features to Phase 2. Many of our clients transition to retainers which enables a steady pace of site enhancements and additional wins.
When we build a project team, that team stays together through launch and beyond. This means no lost time from onboarding new people, and your team becomes an expert in your business. We make sure that each discipline informs all of the others, so everything we design executes the strategy and can be built within budget. Our initial research drives the UX and design, which supports the customer journey. We transform these designs into highly performant, accessible digital experiences that educate, convert, and engage users. After launch, we focus on raising awareness of your new online experience, and generating demand for your offerings.
