Showcasing master craftsmanship through a sleek, visual-first redesign
Mark Richey Woodworking
Manufacturing

Since its founding in 1981, Mark Richey Woodworking has been synonymous with quality woodworking for America's most sought-after venues and projects. This storied brand has been an Imarc client for more than ten years. We first engaged with them when we redesigned their website as a sweeping portfolio showcasing the "wow" factor they bring.
This time, Mark Richey Woodworking came to us to discuss more seamlessly integrating a corporate furniture brand they purchased in 2018, WallGoldfinger, while giving their entire website a necessary refresh.
How Imarc partnered

The challenge
Though Mark himself began his career making furniture, the Mark Richey Woodworking brand is focused on architectural millwork. WallGoldfinger, on the other hand, had always been a furniture brand and needed to remain that way while dovetailing successfully into the larger Mark Richey Woodworking brand. Neither was meant to be downplayed, and each strongly desired to maintain its brand capital. This required careful site architecture consideration, art direction, and general care that a one-brand site would not.

The solution
Our digital solution was Webflow, a highly dynamic platform that could be fully customized to their needs.
Webflow's adaptive nature and our team's creative experience allowed us to present Mark Richey Woodworking's two divisions on the homepage and in other sub-pages with appropriate weight, driving business for each while emphasizing their shared facility, experience, innovation, passion, and other facets of sustainable woodworking.
Some standout elements that make this website special include attention to detail regarding motion and interaction, which allows the viewer to remain focused on the craft while letting them continue exploring the larger narrative. Beyond that, the content management system (CMS) is built intuitively for tagging and other categorization, allowing browsing by category.

The results
Mark Richey Woodworking is well-known by contractors. It earns many referrals based on the quality of its work, but this site creates more pathways for a broader audience to see its many capabilities.
For example, an architectural client may need a custom boardroom table, and now it is more evident that the solution to that need also lives under the Mark Richey Woodworking brand by way of WallGoldfinger.
