Maine Coast Hemp needed to create a new CBD brand from the ground up. This entailed designing a logo, business cards, sales collateral, product packaging, and a dynamic website that all captures the quality of the product while distinguishing it in the increasingly crowded CBD marketplace.
Establishing a new brand
Because Maine Coast Hemp was a new company, with no logo, no brand guidelines, no website, and no web presence of any kind, it made good sense to take a more agile approach to launching the brand. This meant that it was most efficient to work on everything all at once, more or less, in order to get the brand to market as quickly as possible.
Capturing industry + product differentiators
It was essential for Maine Coast Hemp to have a site featuring differentiating content and design. By taking a highly designed approach, the website was built using custom modules that speak to products' features. The flexible layout makes it easy for them to evolve the website so it's always serving their customers well.

Maine Coast Hemp had several stakeholders involved, so it was important to hold meaningful group sessions upfront to talk about what was needed and how to deliver it. In order to keep everything running smoothly, Imarc's strategists continued to work closely throughout the entire design process.
Delivering a brand identity
Maine Coast Hemp wanted to avoid stereotypes and create a new picture of cannabis use by creating a brand and speaking a language that felt approachable, rational, and educated. They found their voice and "vibe" through mood boards and persona work, by exploring visual styles and messaging, that ultimately culminated in defining their brand's personality.
Maine Coast Hemp wanted to to build their website on the HubSpot CMS, as they intended to use the platform for future marketing campaigns, too. This allowed for customized, flexible modules that can be expanded on as they continue to grow the website, making it easy for them to create new pages on their own.
